Aura ("we", "our", or "us") is a personal wellness app that helps you track your mood, build healthy habits, and reflect with the help of an AI coach. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's features:

• Account data — your email address, used to create and identify your account.
• Wellness data — mood check-ins, habit completions, and goals you enter in the app.
• Chat messages — conversations you have with the AI wellness coach.
• Profile data — your first name and wellness goals, if you choose to provide them.
• Purchase data — subscription status managed by RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To sync your data across devices via our secure cloud backend.
• To power the AI wellness coach (your messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses).
• To manage your subscription and verify premium access.
• To send optional reminder notifications you configure in the app.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Aura relies on the following third-party services, each with their own privacy practices:

• Supabase — stores your account and wellness data securely. Privacy Policy
• Anthropic — processes your chat messages to generate AI responses. Messages are not used to train Anthropic's models under our API agreement. Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat — manages subscription purchases and entitlements. Privacy Policy
• Google Play — handles payment processing for subscriptions on Android. Privacy Policy

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase, hosted on secure infrastructure with row-level security so that only your account can access your data. Data is transmitted over HTTPS at all times.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile tab inside the app using the "Clear all data" option.

6. Age Requirement

Aura is intended for users aged 13 and older. By creating an account and using the app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If we become aware that a user under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe this has occurred, please contact us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (via "Clear all data" in the app, or by contacting us).
• Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
